Sir David Attenborough is a biologist, natural historian, and writer. His TV programmes cover every aspect of the natural world. With a career spanning over 7 decades (and still going!), Attenborough has received dozens of honorary degrees and awards. He was named a 'Champion of the Earth' in 2022 by the UN's Environment Programme.
Instead of David's robot capturing animals on film, he is caught in his own net! His body is made from parts of a Triumph motorcycle - his torso is a Tiger Cub petrol tank from Dudley Road and his arms are suspension rods. His head is a fine cafetiere made in Birmingham. The rare spider brooch and butterfly brooches in enamel are from Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter.
