Ant & Dec are a TV presenting duo from Newcastle-upon-Tyne. They originally started out as child actors in the 1990s TV show 'Byker Grove'. They are most known for hosting ‘I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!', 'Britain's Got Talent', and 'Saturday Night Takeaway'. Ant & Dec have won the National Television Award for 'best presenter' 23 years in a row.
Ant’s head is an AVO meter used to measure amps, volts & ohms and his body is a 1950’s Philips radio from Wednesbury South Ward. His porcelain arms have pulled thousands of pints of bitter. His legs are two well used car jacks.
The Watt meter that makes Dec's head, along with the AVO meter, were made by the Automatic Coil Winder & Electrical Equipment Co in Birmingham. Dec's car spanner arms were made by Thomas Smith in Adderley Road, Saltney, and his body is a BSA Triumph petrol tank manufactured in Birmingham's gun quarter. Their car jack legs are from Lake and Elliot Midas in Braintree.
